Better Homes Yorkshire had a stellar night at the National Energy Efficiency Awards on Friday – bringing home a much-coveted award.
The scheme was given third place in the Boiler and Heating project of the Year category!
Better Homes Yorkshire has installed over 3,000 new boilers and heating systems in homes across Yorkshire – work which is thought to have saved around 117k tonnes of carbon - equivalent to taking 61,000 cars off the road!
The project is just one of the ways Better Homes Yorkshire is working to address fuel poverty and through this scheme we’ve worked with partners to ensure we reach those who most need support.
By working with Local Authorities and referral agencies such as Care & Repair, Age UK, social care and health services, we have been able to reach out to customers through sources they trust.

Well done to all the finalists and winners!
