More than a third of all heat lost from an uninsulated home escapes through the walls. Installing cavity wall insulation is often one of the most cost-effective measures you can undertake to save energy in your home.
How it is installed? - Cavity wall insulation is injected through the outer wall of your home into the space between the inner and outer leaves of brickwork that make up cavity walls. Where practicable all of the installers working on the BHY framework use "Silver Bonded Bead". This product prevents slippage and gives an improved thermal performance. Giving you the peace of mind that your insulation will not cause your property problems in the future.
Reduced Bills - Insulating your cavity walls can help your home to keep heat in; making it feel warmer and more comfortable plus you could save between £90 to £270 per year depending on your property type and size.
You could be losing up to a quarter of your heat through an uninsulated loft! Insulating your loft, attic or flat roof is a simple and effective way to keep in heat and reduce your heating bills.
Reduced Bills - Insulating your loft can help your home to keep heat in; making it feel warmer and more comfortable plus you could save up to £150 per year. A loft top up could also save you up to £65 a year.
Maintaining an Ideal Temperature - Maintaining your home at a healthy temperature (18 - 21 degrees) will reduce the risk of respiratory problems, strokes, heart attacks, hypothermia and accidents around the home. Loft insulation will help to prevent heat escaping through the roof.
Cut your Carbon Footprint - Insulating your loft and reducing the amount of energy you use to heat your home will help to reduce your carbon footprint.
