Grants available for new central heating systems for private landlords
Private landlords in Barnsley are being urged to check whether their properties qualify for a new, first-time gas central heating system for their rented property through the council’s energy efficiency scheme, Better Homes Barnsley.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Better Homes Yorkshire have secured funding to provide free insulation for the attic bedrooms or lofts of 115 Calderdale homes, as part of the Tackling Fuel Poverty programme.
Bradford and Leeds residents delighted with their new boilers from Better Homes Yorkshire
Better Homes Yorkshire recently installed brand new A-rated boilers in Bradford and Leeds. The residents were so happy with the works and the process that they wrote an email thanking those who were involved in the process of the works.

Barnsley Council is set to launch its 2018 Warm and Safe Homes Campaign next Wednesday. The campaign aims to highlight some of the help available locally to keep people keep warm, safe and well this winter.
